Leave it alone
There may not be a good enough reason to spend time or money on it right now.
Before you spend money on your website, check you're solving the right problem.
A redesign. Better SEO. More enquiries. Different content. A new feature. Or perhaps the website just isn’t doing what you need it to do.
The useful question is whether that’s actually the problem. In half an hour, we’ll look at what’s happening, what the business needs from the website, and what — if anything — deserves more attention.
It isn’t an automated audit or a list of things I want to sell you. If the answer is to leave it alone, I’ll say so.
You should leave with a clearer sense of what you’re dealing with and what, if anything, makes sense to do next.
There may not be a good enough reason to spend time or money on it right now.
If there’s an important question but not enough evidence to answer it, I may recommend a paid Website Review.
If the problem is clear, the sensible next step may simply be to make the change: yourself, with your existing supplier, or through a Bold Wise Website Action.
I won’t spend hours beforehand analysing analytics or compiling recommendations, and I won’t pretend 30 minutes is enough to diagnose a complex problem.
If something is obvious, I’ll tell you. If it needs proper investigation, I’ll tell you that too.
No automated audit. No assumption that you need to buy anything afterwards.
I’ve spent more than 25 years working across websites and digital products — through design, UX, development, content, branding, technology and the business decisions around them.
That means I don’t need to start by assuming this is an SEO problem, a design problem or a technical problem. I can look across the website and the business around it and help identify what questions are actually worth asking.
