Website Action
When something needs changing.
When the problem is clear enough, stop investigating and act.
A Website Action is a defined piece of work with a specific purpose.
It might follow a Website Review, or the problem may already be clear enough to start work straight away.
The point is not to create more work. It is to make the change that is actually worth making.
What might that involve?
There is no fixed menu.
It might mean improving part of a website, restructuring content, redesigning a journey, repositioning an offer, improving search visibility, creating a landing page, testing an idea, building a feature or rebuilding the site. Occasionally, the right action isn’t primarily on the website at all.
The common factor is simple: we understand the problem well enough to define a useful outcome and act on it.
How the work gets done depends on the problem.
I may carry out the work directly, lead it with specialist input, or work alongside your existing team, agency or suppliers.
If the work needs expertise I don’t provide, I’ll say so and help bring in the right person.
I’ll shape the work around what actually needs doing.
Defined work, agreed before we start.
Website Actions are scoped and priced separately, based on what the work actually involves rather than a standard rate card.
Before work begins, we’ll agree what we are trying to achieve, what is included, who is doing what, the timing and the cost — so there are no surprises once it’s underway.
If it becomes clear partway through that the scope was wrong, I’ll say so rather than quietly carrying on.
Do you need a Website Review first?
No.
If the problem is already clear, there is little value in selling you an investigation you don’t need.
If there is still an important question we cannot answer confidently, I may recommend a Website Review before either of us commits to a solution.

I’m Alex Magill, founder of Bold Wise.
I don’t just advise from the sidelines. My background spans design, UX, development, content, branding and digital products, as well as the thinking that sits around them.
So when the right action is something I can usefully make or change myself, I can do that. When it needs a specialist, an agency or someone already on your team, I can help shape and direct the work instead.
The aim isn’t for Bold Wise to do everything. It’s to get the right thing done in the right way.
